You should know exactly how a review site makes money before you trust its recommendations.

Referral Fees & Affiliate Commissions

When you click through to a vendor from our site and ultimately purchase their software, we may earn a referral fee. This is our primary revenue source.

What this does NOT affect: Our ratings, rankings, and editorial content are never influenced by whether a vendor pays us referral fees. Products that don't have referral programs (like Open Dental) get the same rigorous, fair review as those that do.

Qualified Lead Generation

When you fill out our recommendation form, we may connect you with vendors that match your needs. We're compensated for these introductions. You'll never be contacted by a vendor unless you've explicitly expressed interest.

Advertising (Future)

We may introduce clearly labeled sponsored content or display advertising in the future. Sponsored content will always be marked as such and will never influence our editorial ratings.

Editorial Independence Policy

Ratings and rankings are determined solely by our published methodology.

No vendor can pay for a higher rating or more favorable review.

We cover products whether or not they have a commercial relationship with us.

Editorial decisions are made independently of business considerations.

We disclose affiliate relationships on every relevant page.

Why This Matters

Most dental software “review” sites are actually lead-generation businesses that rank vendors based on who pays the most per lead. Our model is designed so that we make money because our reviews are trustworthy — not in spite of it. If we lose your trust, we lose everything.
